Church Centenary - Calendar of Events

The Church Centenary Calendar covers the whole of 2010. Events are being placed in the calendar as early as possible. This may be before all information concerning the actual date and time of the event are available. This is because early notification of these events will help avoid clashes with other events going on through the Church year, and allow everyone to plan their own calendars in advance. Any blank spaces in the calendar below will be filled in when the relevant information becomes available.

JANUARY 2010
Sunday	10th or 17th		The "Launch the Anniversary Year" special Service followed by an informal lunch
FEBRUARY 2010
			Pantomime
Sunday	21st		The launch of our Centenary Project. We hope to forge links with and support a Church in Zimbabwe
MARCH 2010
Sunday	21st		The launch of the "History". "Christ Church Rayleigh - the first 100 years" has been written by Revd. Hubert Smith and will be available for purchase from this date Communion followed by tea and Anniversary cake

Saturday	1st		"The May Event" - an open day with stalls of various kinds and activities for children

Saturday Sunday	10th 11th		Centenary Weekend and Thanksgiving Service following the pattern of an Open Day, with a variety of activities on the Saturday. Sunday morning Service of Thanksgiving (involving the Moderator) to be followed by a buffet lunch
